Today's Groupon offers a pole-based exercise more effective than flapper-era pole sitting, more energizing than pole-vaulting, and more sensual than polenta. For $29, new students get four pole-dancing or Ladies Liberation classes at Dance 411 Studios (an up to $75 value). You can use all four on the same class, or spread them out across a variety of titillating tutorials. Please show up about 15 minutes before your first class so that you can fill out the studio's waiver and release, get your class card, and learn your classmates' names and birthstones. After that, pre-register for your remaining classes online.
If you're not used to being near a pole that doesn't have a plate spinning on top of it, Dance 411's instructors will encourage you to find the dancing goddess that saunters just beneath your surface with the studio's beginner drop-in pole-dance class. If you're concerned about thigh bruises, sign up instead for one of Dance 411's Ladies Liberation classes, designed to unleash your inner divalicious dancer and shimmy your body into shape. Learn the lap dance, strut your stuff in go-go stilettos, or undulate your core with belly dancing. If you ever get tired of being sexy, take a break with a nice, normal, sexiness-optional yoga session. See the full Groupon schedule here.
Whether you're looking to spicy up your love life or tone up your curves, Dance 411 will give you plenty of room to arch your back as if you were a sexy long-haired wildcat, not to be confused with the long-eared hedgehog, which is really more cute than sexy.
RollingOut.com calls Dance 411's 8,000-square-foot dance factory a "studio for the stars". Spacious studio spaces are equipped with appropriate dance surfaces to keep you safe while you move and groove free from the fear of having your toes nipped by a bloodthirsty Roomba. As you roll it, drop it, and rock it at Dance 411 Studios, you'll confuse your body by showing it a great time while secretly working it into wonderful shape (hot shape for 2010: rhombus).

Groupon Says
A Pole-lethora of Uses
Once you're an expert pole dancer, you'll want to invest in your own pole for home and personal use. Don't limit activities with your new pole to dancing. Here are some alternate uses for your new pole:
- Carry pails of water from your local naturally occurring wellspring
- Hassle birds
- Long-distance Chinese finger-trap
- Vault over deli counter at grocery store to get to "good ham"
- Giant, conspicuous blow gun
- Literally decline to touch things with your new 10-foot pole
- Store eggs vertically
- Prepare for Purple Belt exam with homemade bo staff
- Halfway to a pair of stilts
