Naturally delicious juices invite a garden of growables to your mouth with each splendorous sip. Today's Groupon gets you $10 worth of fruity flavors at Daily Juice for $5, good at the Barton Springs Road and Lake Austin Boulevard locations only. The fresh-squeezed utopia specializes in fruit liquids and botanical blends perfect cleansing, reviving, or refreshing.

Daily Juice's simple smoothies are made strictly with fresh juice and frozen fruit—no clunky, straw-clogging ice cubes allowed. Try the Maya Papaya ($3.95–$7.75), a tropical treat of papaya, banana, fresh pineapple, lime, organic raw agave nectar, and a dash of Himalayan salt. You can also try made-to-order fresh juices including the all-organic green party (celery, cucumber, kale, romaine, spinach, parsley, cilantro, and cabbage, $6–$10.95) or immunity-boosting Vitamin C I Told Ya (a citrus explosion of Texas grapefruit, orange, lemon, lime, and pineapple, $4–$7.75). You'll also find add-ins, healthy shots, and deli cases of raw, vegan, and nutritious fare such as the barbecue coconut sandwich ($6.50), Thai noodle bowl ($5.75), and the southwestern salad ($6.50+).

Drinking a delicious elixir is the easiest way to get your requisite five servings of fruits and vegetables that doesn't involve an IV drip. Daily Juice starts with all-natural ingredients untainted by chemicals, preservatives, chlorine, and other harmful additives as the base for all blended creations, relying heavily on local and organic fare.

See website for store hours, but keep in mind that Daily Juice closes one hour early (Barton Springs location at 8 p.m., Lake Austin at 7 p.m.) until daylight saving time starts in March.

Reviews

Sifting Through Austin likes Daily Juice, saying:

  • I landed on the Berry Melon-O simple smoothie which consisted of: strawberry, mango, raspberry and fresh watermelon. No added sweetner [sic], no nothing, just the fresh juice and frozen fruit blended up to a nice texture. Some fruit smoothies end up being cloyingly sweet. These were not, it had just the right amount of natural sweet and we were able to savor and detect the different fruits in the mix. – Sifting Through Austin

Yelpers and Citysearchers give Daily Juice's Barton Springs Road location 4.5 stars, Insider Pagers give it four, and Happy Cow reviewers give it four smiling cow faces:

  • My favorite smoothie is Berried Alive (blueberry, strawberry, raspberry, goji berry, acai) and my boyfriend's is The Chronic (hemp seed oil, banana, hemp protein, hemp seed, agave)... which is surprisingly delicious. – beatsutra, Happy Cow
  • I love the coconut milk served in a real coconut... scooping the cool flesh out with the pointed straw is fun and nourishing. – Masalaflower, Happy Cow

Groupon Says

The Right Juice for You

Drinking juice is a healthy and delicious way to get the nutrients found in fruits and vegetables without the time-consuming headache of peeling and chewing. To help you decide which juice is right for you, here's a look at a few popular varieties:

Orange Juice: The vitamins found in orange juice can make you immune to disease but contain flavonoids that will cause you to forget your childhood memories. That's the reason that most orange farmers are highly susceptible to false memories and hypnotism.

Grape Juice: Leave it outside for 15 minutes and it turns into wine.

Apple Juice: This childhood favorite is perfect for working moms on the go or carnival workers who are worried about homemade tattoo infections. Apple juice should not be consumed in the presence of undomesticated animals or the recently widowed because its natural polyphenols can trigger squawking. The boron found in apple juice can be extracted and pasted onto envelopes as postage.
