People celebrate special occasions by decorating things with baubles, as evidenced by hanging ornaments on Christmas trees and emptying drums of diamonds over winning coaches. Bauble up with today's Groupon: for $25, you get $50 toward jewelry at Sikara & Co..

Sikara & Co. founder Mousumi Shaw blends the aesthetic of traditional ethnic jewelry with innovative modern designs inspired by her world travels. Substantially sized rings, such as the geometric Bilbao curved square ($175), bolster wrists’ confidence during important handshakes, and earrings, such as the hand-brushed 18-karat gold Mantra earrings ($145), dangle prettily from earlobes. A sparkling eye catcher, the Milano mesh necklace ($410) loops together hundreds of glittering circles in an homage to the luxurious fabrics of Milan encountered on Mousumi’s international voyages. Although many of Sikara & Co.'s creations exude femininity, Mousumi also outfits men's sleeves with elegant cufflinks, including a sleek set shaped like the nation of Texas ($145). Sikara Jewelry is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
