Salon Dragonfly

When Jen Phumin and her mentor Janice Jones—a 40-year veteran of the beauty industry—opened their salon, they chose the name Salon Dragonfly because of the dragonfly's association with change, adventure, and prosperity in Asian culture. Together with a staff of trained stylists, they seek to fulfill their clients' desire for transformation. After consulting with guests, stylists use Aveda products during trims, formal styling, and color treatments. As they work, the salon's expansive windows bathe stylists in natural light, and dragonfly artwork and sage-hued walls inspire tranquility.
