The certified coaches at Oakland Country CrossFit draw from a diverse range of disciplines and backgrounds to motivate and push their students to the pinnacle of fitness. Students steel their bodies with a wide range of programs, including traditional yoga, endurance-building SEALFIT classes, Olympic lifting, and personal training. At the 5,000 square-foot gym, students won't find treadmills or step-machines, but they might notice free-weights, tractor tires, and 2,000 square feet of astroturf, on which guests can wrestle the moths out of infested bags of flour. CrossFit students build muscles with a high-intensity regimen of scalable exercises, shattering their limitations and goals with calisthentics, kettlebells, gymnastics, and metabolic conditioning.
