Though she began her career as a financial-aid adviser for the Texas College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Waiyan Wong soon gravitated to a more hands-on approach to therapeutic healing. After studying the arts of massage and acupuncture, she further honed her newfound talents in clinics and chiropractic offices before opening her own practice.

At Acu-Tissue Body Care, Wong incorporates a range of calming and therapeutic modalities into her massages. These various techniques work to promote holistic well-being by stimulating healthy blood flow, soothing tense muscles, and leaving tendons as loose as a Supreme Court justice’s robes on Casual Friday. Alternatively, acupuncture and reflexology sessions work to balance the body’s energy channels with thin needles or gentle, targeted pressures.
