If the body is an orchestra made up of many systems performing together harmoniously, then the staffers at BoulderBodyworks strive to be conductors who ensure each instrument section plays its part the best of its ability. Fueled by this total-body approach, the team aims to help clients achieve natural homeostatic balance through exercise, massage therapy, and neuromuscular science. Working as a network, they combine their many certifications and experiences—be it 30 years working as a Pilates instructor or receiving an education from the Hendrickson Method Institute—to help clients treat their whole being. They host small-group Pilates classes, which can potentially aid in injury recovery and chronic pain management as well as physical fitness, and received Best Pilates Studio from the Boulder Weekly's Best of Boulder 2010 and 2011. Boulder Bodyworks also features yoga classes, banishes tension with eight distinct types of massage, helps bodies recuperate with physical therapy, and summons better postures with the Franklin Method, an approach to training that seeks to correct slouches spawned from working at a desk all day or training to become an Olympian leap-frogger.
