After 18 years spent helping her clients get the hairstyles of their dreams, Kara Evans was finally able to realize her own lifelong dream of opening her own salon. Since March of 2012, she’s helmed the wheel of Bella Tula Salon, where her scissoring and hair coloring skills are complemented by other aesthetic services such as special occasion makeup. Hair remains her greatest passion, however, so she pulls products by Kuene and Pureology to aid her as she tends to the tresses of both men and women. Beyond custom cuts, her specialties include corrective color and thermal straightening, as well as children’s mohawks, which give kids the extra inches they need to finally ride roller coaters by themselves.
