Hadley Nixon has always trained a keen eye on the fashion that surrounds her. Drawing from the eclectic looks she saw when living in New York City and the elegant styles that abound in the southeast, Hadley fills her boutique’s powder-blue interior with feminine casual wear and cocktail attire. Dresses and blouses from local North Carolina designers rub elbows with pieces from big-name designers such as Yoana Baraschi and Yumi Kim, who carries Hadley’s personal favorite line of bright, flowing blouses and summer dresses. Elsewhere in the shop, dangling earrings and bracelets with quirky characteristics, such as the integration of metal and cloth, put the finishing touch on outfits and a stylish spin on American Girl dolls.
