Pat Reese Slipcovers
Thirty-eight years ago, while working as a decorator for Sears department store in Fort Worth, Pat Reese met Noah Bazer. Bazer was a master upholsterer who crafted custom slipcovers for stores around town. She asked him to teach her his trade, and he took her on as a student. After four years, she was skilled enough to become his business partner. They worked together as Bazer & Reese for years, and their reputation for high-quality slipcovers spread throughout Texas. In 1990, after Bazer lost his wife of many years, he left the company and moved to Florida.
Today, Reese leads a team of artisans in crafting slipcovers and draperies of the same high quality that Bazer was known for. Customers can peruse a wide variety of fabrics, including eco-friendly green fabrics made from hemp, organic cotton, and other sustainably sourced fibers. The artisans then craft the fabrics into coverings for sofas, chairs, and other furniture. They also create draperies and custom upholstery.
