Mt. Carmel Society
Founded in 1926, the Mt. Carmel Society brings the local community together through a diverse collection of arts, music, and sports programming throughout the year. At past fetes, Deana Martin—daughter of Dean—stopped by to belt classic tunes and the crew of the reality-TV series Cake Boss explained how best to blend powdered sugar and light-hearted family dysfunction. The organization's hall, with space for 255 people, regularly hosts weddings, banquets, and personal events, and its pasta dinners bring together family and friends on the last Thursday of every month.
