Krav NYC

Krav NYC, a part of the Israeli Krav Maga Association, builds instinctual mental flow charts for responding to worst-case scenarios. With a combination of krav maga—the self-defense system used by the Israeli Defense Forces—and fitness training, instructors sharpen their students' instincts and physical reflexes. Classes teach participants to escape from and ward off assailants, both armed and unarmed, with simple maneuvers. Courses for women, children, and law-enforcement personnel deliver specialized combat tips, and students fight off hoards of excess calories in fitness-centric offerings, such as cardio kickboxing. To keep up with the ever-evolving trends, the staff studies up on new defensive techniques, readying students to effectively counter advanced chokeholds or laser-swords.
