FASNY Museum of Firefighting
Mon-Sun 9 am - 4:30 pm
A bevy of tools of the firefighting trade are on display at FASNY Museum of Firefighting, which traces the history of firefighting from ancient Rome to today. Pieces of equipment in the museum's collection range from steam-powered fire pumpers to helmets and self-contained breathing apparatuses. The pieces are scattered through seven exhibitions, which include a replicated 19th-century firehouse interior, as well as select fire engines for children to climb aboard.
