Pheasants Landing Restaurant
There’s a sense of timeless elegance to the interiors at Pheasants Landing; there’s a grand ballroom here, for example, where large, wooden ceiling beams suspend over a stone fireplace, a wooden dance floor, ruffled drapes, and cloth-covered tables and chairs. The chefs also embrace an Old-World approach in the seasonal lunch and dinner menus. For the winter menu, they make each of the spinach dumplings by hand, and they serve traditional German fare such as wiener schnitzel, sauerbraten with spaetzle and red cabbage, and sautéed lederhosen. There’s also a fondue blend that has three types of swiss cheese whipped together. As a side dish, you can enjoy rosti—a potato pancake with bacon and onions.
Green fields and tall maple trees surround the outdoor patio at Pheasants Landing’s pub. Guests can shuffle between the patio and the dining room here, and frequently, the pub hosts live music.
