The boot camps commence with a five-day “hell week,” in which guests strap on 30-pound vests and perform weight-training, agility, and endurance exercises. Throughout their physical trials, patrons learn about the body's muscle groups and how to wrestle the exercise machines into submission long enough to complete a workout. At the end of "hell week," students honor their hard work during a graduation ceremony, where they shed their weighted vests and have their measurements taken to mark their starting statistics before embarking on their five-week fitness journey.
