It’s tough to get stressed out at ZenZen Yoga Arts. Not only does the bright, white-walled studio radiate relaxation, visitors can take part in aerial-yoga classes which move traditional yoga poses off the ground and into blue silk hammocks hanging from the ceiling. The classes use gravity and bodyweight to help students sink deeper into the stretches, to relieve pressure from the spine, and to offer a relaxing feeling of weightlessness.
In addition to the aerial classes, owner Therese Bailey leads guests in energizing hatha yoga classes, drawing on more than a decade of yoga practice throughout. She also helps guests heal and relax with bodywork therapy that draws on natural energies to stimulate healing in the body’s immune system, circulation, and batteries.
