Giovanni-Sacchi Hair Salon

With his signature head of Robert Plant–like curls and a flair for the theatrical, Giovanni Campanaro is just as adept at entertaining his clients as he is at styling their hair. The former-actor-turned-veteran-stylist jovially shaped the coiffures of clients in New York, Palm Beach, and Beverly Hills before settling in at his namesake salon. Sharing the salon's name and beautifying duties is his wife, Sachiko Nishioka, or Sacchi. Sacchi specializes in Japanese hair-straightening techniques and hair-coloring services, expertly sprucing up her clients in the salon's retro confines. Paying homage to Sacchi's love of the 1940s, the space is decked out in art deco mirrors and authentic 40s-era hydraulic chairs that move up and down to the salon's energetic swing music when no one's looking.
