As a board-certified corneal specialist surgeon and a fellow of the esteemed American College of Surgeons who has performed more than 40,000 vision corrections, Dr. Belardo uses the latest technology to carefully evaluate the strength of the cornea before recommending a course of treatment. His diagnostic tests help determine whether a patient is a good candidate for other procedures, or whether an alternative, such as intraocular contact-lens implants, may be more appropriate.
