For Mark and Chung Sun, CrossFit has proved to not only the answer, but the prescription. After their fathers suffered from chronic shoulder pain for over 40 years, his two sons finally brought their father in for his first variable CrossFit workout. Several weeks later their father’s shoulder was back in working order, and he was able to reduce his cholesterol without medication. Mark and Chung preach CrossFit’s philosophy of constantly varied workouts, and uses their dynamic, full-body workouts to improve total body health.
Within a 4,800-square-foot studio, instructor Jared Reed heads the gym’s programming for children, which blends traditional workouts with games of freeze-tag or dodgeball. CrossFit Kids classes help enhance cognitive abilities, build discipline, and impart modern etiquette with tractor-tire flipping.
