Doctor of Chiropractic Rambod Derakhshani once helped world-class athletes get back on the field to play the sports they love. Now, Dr. D, as his patients know him, offers his chiropractic services at The Healing Joint, serving clients ranging from body builders and triathletes to regular 9-to-5ers. In his Oak Plaza office, Dr. D aims to spend ample time with each patient, employing spinal manipulation to help relieve bone and joint aches and more advanced Active Release Techniques to help heal injured muscles and tendons.

Dr. D’s staff includes massage therapists who customize a blend of Eastern and Western techniques, including sports massages and Jin Shin Jyutsi, to relieve aches and pains during therapeutic massage sessions. In addition, the wellness center is outfitted with a far-infrared sauna made from solid aspen wood designed to naturally detoxify bodies. The Therasage RX 8000S heated shiatsu massage bed also harnesses the power of infrared heat to penetrate muscles as jade rollers knead lower backs, causing vertebrae to relax and release pockets of air and multicolored confetti.
