Touch Fusion Massage
During the four years David Barr spent working in tech support, he became well acquainted with the type of mental and physical stress associated with hours spent hunched over a keyboard. Although he no longer works in Silicon Valley, he still considers himself a tech support technician. Instead of working on computers, he now focuses on what he calls the “human hardware.” As a massage therapist, he applies hands-on techniques to restore and reboot patients, all the while employing his well-earned empathy for those with sedentary jobs like computer programmer. Much like his approach to a computer virus, David recognizes that each muscle, injury, and body ache needs an individually tailored treatment and can come from tapping a mouse in at the wrong time. As such, he uses strokes from a wide array of techniques, from reflexology to deep tissue as well as the softer strokes of a Swedish massage.
