Velocity Sports Performance
The energetic staff at Velocity Sports Performance shapes competitive adults and children into able-bodied athletes through challenging exercises inside an indoor complex furnished with turf fields, sprint tracks, and weight-lifting equipment. Their workouts yield specific, scientifically grounded benefits for competing in a number of sports, honing quickness, speed, vertical jumps, strength, and the ability to hold high notes while getting slugged in the stomach. The 60-minute adult program touts eclectic, movement-based sessions that help improve metabolism, body composition, and exercise technique. Velocity Sports divides youth groups of no more than eight kids into Fundamental (ages 8–11), Competitive (ages 12–14), and Elite (ages 15–18) categories. During 60-minute sessions, Fundamental students may navigate speed ladders or weave in and out of situated cones, banking some of the approximately 10,000 hours of muscle memory needed to master complex physical skills such as sushi rolling.
