When she became a massage therapist, Jennifer Durand realized she possessed the ability to relieve people from the stress of everyday life. She opened The Nurture Nook Day Spa & Gift Shoppe to create a space dedicated to banishing tension not only through massage, but also through personalized facials and peels, body wraps, and steam treatments beneath the Steamy Wonder steam canopy. The staff strives to make each service luxurious—massages come with your choice of steamed towels, deep heat hydrotherapy, a foot soak, hot stones, or aromatherapy. Services targeted toward hands and feet include foot soaks in manuka honey drizzle with fresh citrus slices, cranberry-yuzu sugar scrubs, steam wraps, and foot massages.

Jennifer and her team of professionals work within a renovated turn-of-the-century house complete with charming fireplaces, classic woodwork, and plush oriental rugs long retired from flying. The spot also houses a gift shop, where guests can peruse premium products such as Jane Iredale mineral makeup, Clarisonic cleansing systems, and Bella Luccè organic scrubs.
