Experience the infinite expanses of the galaxies without dragging the family spacepod out of storage with two tickets ($10.75 each) to "The Universe in a Night." Your tickets include admission for you and a fellow astronomy enthusiast to see a visually surrounding multi-media presentation in the Planetarium Star Theatre. Starting July 3, the planetarium show will be "Quest for Origins." Delve into the birth of stars, the age of the universe, and what came first—the chicken or the asteroid—in 360-degree panoramic glory, as knowledge swirls around you, drowning you in a whirlpool of wonder. Also included in "The Universe in a Night" is admission to the micro-lecture "Hot Topics!," which tackles the latest developments in all things astro. Finally, you'll stop in the observatory for a sky-watching session, where you can play connect-the-dots with the constellations, discovering atmosphere images of spoons, hunters, and South American tapirs on jet-skis.
