Crave Fitness's trainer, Dean Kerpan, has always loved sports and fitness, but he doesn’t consider himself a natural athlete. He always had to work hard to improve—but he didn't let that stop him from boxing competitively, running the Boston Marathon, or becoming a personal trainer. At Crave Fitness, he motivates clients to reach their personal fitness goals through rigorous boot camps and one-on-one and partner training programs. His training programs are supplemented by nutrition advice and training homework that helps patrons apply what they've learned and remember drills for at-home fitness routines. During group training sessions, four–six students band together to encourage one another during individual and partner exercises, such as jogging while maintaining a perfect human pyramid.
Dean also fosters an encouraging atmosphere in his boot camps, which might meet in parks or at the beach. The ever-changing routines channel high-intensity interval training and exercises such as dragging tires or boxing to help campers burn fat and pump up their agility and strength.
