An Update on Our Support of Japan: $3.5 Million Raised

We’re thrilled to report that Groupon and our customers have donated $3.5 million to relief efforts in Japan. 25 countries in the global Groupon network partnered with international organizations such as International Medical Corps here in the States and the British Red Cross, raising millions of dollars in just one week. This is the power of collective action and social media.

The situation in Japan is still incredibly volatile; for more information on ways to help, visit the International Medical Corps site or follow them on Facebook.

Hi, I have a business proposition for groupon. The person I really need to talk to is a computer developer or Andrew Mason. Obviously I can’t explain the full idea on here but it has to do with coupons and would work hand in hand with groupon, greatly enhancing your website. The reason I am contacting Groupon first is because the people there are familiar with building and running websites, and I am not. I would like to propose a partnership with the idea, because otherwise the two websites will end up competing and therefor take business away from both. Im hoping that you will be able to put this in front of the right person, and I hope to hear from you soon. Thanks, Nick
