Award-Winning portrait photography studio located on the picturesque south shore of Long Island.
Michelle Zuccaro interned at Teen Vogue and for the iconic Annie Leibovitz, but she'd rather capture the glimmer of a child's smile than the glare of the red carpet. For 10 years before she took up the study of fine-art photography at St. John's University, she volunteered to work with children ranging from 6 months to 7 years of age at a vacation Bible school. During those years, she developed a keen sensitivity to children's moods—"I wanted to be a teacher before I discovered photography," she says. With her professional photography career now in full throttle, she specializes in portraits of children, but also snaps holiday-themed family photos and flattering headshots for upcoming auditions for Wheaties commercials.

CL!X Portrait Studios permanently preserves memories of mugs by locking them away in digital time capsules. Today's photo-fashioning deal leads you straight into a private studio, in which a quick-clicking shutterbug will turn the camera's eye in your direction and rack up a collection of 40 or more shots. Then, the photographer will help models choose their three favorite high-resolution images, ensuring no one picks a photo plagued with red eyes, exposed tongues, or ghosts giving you rabbit ears. Pictures come with full copyright release and are delivered promptly, often catching up to you on the same day as the shoot.

As former fashion photographers, Sarah Browne and Ina McConnell have eyes for texture, color, and spotting just the right pose. Just as impressive, they are able to capture these shots with or without directing their subjects. In fact, during weddings, they prefer working behind the scenes, allowing visual stories to unfold as they would with or without a camera present. When the occasion calls for it, however—it might during boudoir shoots—they deftly direct subjects into sultry poses and maneuver lighting to elicit evocative and expressive shots.
The birth of a child. A graduation ceremony. A pet’s first obedience-school play. Amazing Milestones Photography's shutterbugs help clients relive these special moments. The experienced staff is available for a wide array of photo shoots, from weddings to community gatherings to in-studio portrait sessions.
Matthew Turri traces his interest in photography all the way back to his birth in Rochester, New York, which is also home to the headquarters of Kodak. It would appear that some Kodachrome bonded with his DNA, as he focused heavily on picture-taking in high school, eventually pursuing photojournalism at the University at Albany-SUNY. Since then, Turri aimed his aperture as an intern for the New York legislature, a staff photographer for a daily newspaper, and a freelancer for numerous weddings and events. Now in full command of his own prowess, Turri lends his services to families romping in the sand and superstitious brides and grooms sharing drinks on the opposite sides of a door.
Weeks before expectant moms meet their bundle of joy, the ultrasound technicians at Baby's 1st Appearance give them a glimpse into motherhood. Their elective 3D and 4D sonograms work like radar in the womb, emitting sound waves into the belly that bounce back and, based on return time, generate an image of soon-to-be sons or daughters. Parents can memorialize the session long after their baby's first birthday with photos (black-and-white, color, or 3D color) or DVDs of the sonogram's findings.
The photographers at Time and Moment aim to celebrate each client's personality in every shot, creating expressive and artful photos. Equally at ease with taking striking creative approaches or framing more traditional photos, the staffers at Time and Moment take into account clients' ideas and collaborate with them to find the most unique approach for each photo.
At Stor In Style Portraits, photographers train their eyes through viewfinders as they snap memorable shots of individuals, couples, and groups. Customers are welcome to bring in their own props or use provided curios as they pose for portraits. Photographers then retouch those portraits and provide them as prints, digital images on CD, or in private photo galleries.
Lenny Stucker has had a long career in visual mediums, one that’s brought him to the director’s chair at NBC, to Europe as a television program director, and finally to TalentWorks Art Photography as an art photographer. Though they rarely have a moment to savor between snapshots, Silverfox Photography’s Joann and John Salkowsky have certainly had a year worth celebrating. From the 20th anniversary of their photo studio to a recent Bride's Choice award courtesy of Wedding Wire, the husband-and-wife team have racked up accolades but show no signs of slowing down. Silverfox Photography continues to capture intimate moments and special celebrations as they happen, stationing professionals behind the lens and taking care to leave no important memory outside of the frame. The studio’s photography freezes time in front of vivid backgrounds, and its videography services give clients the opportunity to relive first dances, graduations, and daily trips to the grocery store.
Even though there are two of them, Brandon and Rebecca Osman, make their presence at photo shoots subtle and unobtrusive. The duo adopts a photojournalistic approach as they capture indelible moments out in the natural beauty of their Long Island surroundings. They can create natural and striking images for engagement photo shoots and weddings.
When the Moss family—who has photography ties dating back to 1912—purchased Michael Shulman's photography studio in 1967, they brought their pedigree to the Huntington area. Today, the studio, which now goes by Michaels Photography, is run by Robert Moss, a photographer with a modern style of photography. During his on-location shoots, he candidly documents milestones such as engagements, weddings, bar and bat mitzvahs, and a child's first doctorate degree.
