DJ Ceramix made a name for himself by placing a slab of wet clay atop his turntable and spinning it into a beautiful vase by the end of his set. Impress the audience members of your life with today's deal: for $20, you get $40 worth of pottery painting, glass fusing, and more at Dish It Out, with locations at the Stonecrest Shopping Center and Myers Park. Dish It Out exists as an outlet for crafty crafters to conceive elegant pottery, glass, and jewelry pieces without having to transform their tidy homes into Chianti-spattered art studios. Potential projects include pottery painting (pieces range from $1.50–$50), where spectrum-wielders can colorfully adorn a plate, figurine, or makeshift spittoon to their aesthetic preference. Afterward, Dish It Out will glaze and fire the piece, which the eager artiste can pick up within a week. Create alluring necklaces at Dish It Out's bead bar (pricing varies per bead), a stunning stockpile of sterling silver, Swarovski crystals, and real gemstones. Budding Bogeys and Bacalls can immortalize their handprints in a clay slab (starting at one hand for $25), and history buffs can use glass fusion ($16–$60) to fashion a plate commemorating George Washington's famous crossing of the Ganges.

Dish It Out's savvy staff is on hand to assist arts-and-crafts conjurers through every step of the technical process. Artists aspiring to bedazzle with beaded jewelry and Waterworld-inspired platters can push their visions to fruition with today's Groupon to Dish It Out.

Groupon Says

Deborah, the Pottery Horse

The world's most critically and commercially successful potter is Deborah, the pottery horse. Deborah, a Bavarian Warmblood who lives in Upstate New York, was first recognized as a unique talent when her owner walked into her home pottery studio to find 25 gorgeous, unaccounted-for pieces in the kiln. Naturally, Deborah's owners first blamed the pottery on playful ghosts, but dried clay on Deborah's hooves soon revealed the truth.

In addition to being a famous potter, Deborah is also the world's most famous horse magician, horse architect, and horse horse trainer. Although Deborah cannot talk, she is able to communicate by walking in pre-determined patterns that correspond to alphabet letters. In an interview with Pottery Monthly, she walked, "Lesser talents amuse me, in the way that sickness amuses a dog. The dog is unable to comprehend, yet he laughs nonetheless."
