Brite Smile out of business? If so, I would like my $200 back please...

I bought the Brite Smile groupon several months back and called today to make an appointment. None of the numbers at the New York locations are working, the 800 number rings busy, and spot calling around the nation at locations says the numbers are disconnected.

Help!! What is my recourse? Thanks so much…

I got scammed for $100. Called today, and they are no longer in business. See the link:http://www.britesmilewhitening.com/company/press-releases.php
I called the company “Bright Smile” at (866) 423-2748, and they say that they are not associated with the locations. I told them that it reflects bad on them.

You know that these guys knew that they were going out of business before they stole our money. Scam.

That’s fair. I realize now that either/both of our comments could be misconstrued to mean different things.

However, I do want to say that while I am not privy to the internal business practices of Brite Smile, I do empathize with those who have been jerked around by them. In no universe would we leave any of you hanging with this situation.

Apologies for any misunderstanding! Just trying to look out for everyone involved!

wow! I did not buy one of these, just happened upon this thread. I have to say Josh your customer service skills are beyond great. I just bought my first groupon yesterday and will continue especially after seeing the way you take care of your customers. WTG! Good Customer Service is hard to find these days. Kudos to groupon for taking care of their customers.

I also wrote to Groupon about the Britesmile issue and received a response within hours indicating I would get a refund. Groupon rocks!
