Questions and Answers

Hi Jake,
Great question. Classes and instruction are part of the deal. From the website:
“A weekend with a variety of open-minded instructors to offer different techniques and skills.
IN CLASS INSTRUCTORS are utilized for students to have personal feedback in class.”
No need to worry. Enjoy!

In answer to Jake’s question: I believe that this is a weekend committed entirely to Balboa; NOT west coast. I’ve taken lessons with Joel and he is, by far, the best dance instructor I’ve ever worked with. This is going to be a fantastic weekend of Balboa dancing!
The weekend is indeed committed entirely to the dance called Balboa, not to west coast swing or other swing dances.
There are 6 levels for the classes. If you’ve never done Balboa before, sign up for level 1.

Thanks for the replies, everybody. I’ll search the web for some video of what Balboa looks like. Sounds fun.

My wife and I are rusty – and were never showpiece dancers in the first place. How much instruction and practice will there be for people like us? Is it part of the deal? Also, will there be instruction in West Coast Swing?
