Jennifer B.

It never asked me which tour I wanted to go on and when? How does this work?

Thanks,

Jen

Hi Jen,

There will be instructions on the coupon (that you will receive tomorrow morning), but basically you need will need to email Chicago Food Tour once you get your groupon with your coupon code and the dates that you want.

Best,

Hi Qionger,

Sorry, unfortunately this deal is sold out.

Groupon .

Hi everyone,

Hope you’re getting excited about your upcoming Chicago Food Tour! Just a quick update – the expiration date has been extended to September 1st.

Schedule your tour early so you are sure to get the date you want. When you’re ready to schedule:

1. Go here and find a time & date that works for you
2. Email info@chicagofoodplanet.com: info@chicagofoodplanet.com with your name, mobile and home phone number, Groupon number, and date(s) and time(s) you’re interested in and which tour route you would like to take (Near North Food Tour or Bucktown/Wicker Park Food Tour).
3. Chicago Food Planet will contact you with your confirmation information and day-of event logistics.
4. If you have any food allergies or are a vegetarian, please indicate this.

Thanks for using Groupon!

Hi, is this still available? The Closed icon says no, but I noticed that the expiration date has been extended to September 1st.

Hi Jacqueline,

Sorry, this deal is no longer available. We had to extend the expiration date to make sure there was time for everyone who purchased to book their tours, but the window to purchase these is closed.

Very sorry,

Joe (from Groupon)

Aw, I’m sorry I missed out on the great deal. Thanks for responding so quickly!

I tried to make a reservation today, and though it states specifically on the Groupon that it can be used to buy multiple tickets, the Zerve people (they handle ticketing for Chicago Food Planet) refused to let me make a reservation for 3 people at the $21 price. There are a total of 3 people who want to go. I understand that the first person’s ticket is already paid for through the Groupon, but the company wanted to charge me $42 (full price instead of the Groupon price of $21) for the other 2 people. This was not my understanding when I bought the Groupon, and I am upset at the way Chicago Food Planet is handling the situation.
