The 5k ThrillSeeker Experience takes place at 8 a.m. on Saturday, August 23, at Vail Lakes Resort. Each participant receives a race bib, official T-shirt, temporary tattoo, and swag bag. Participants will also have the opportunity to be a part of a live commercial filming event, which will help promote the 5K ThrillSeeker Experience across the nation.

5k ThrillSeeker Experience

The only thing crazier than running the 5k ThrillSeeker would be running the 5k ThrillSeeker backward. The 3.1-mile course includes such Hollywood-stunt-producer-designed obstacles as the Jugglernaught, where runners dodge giant foam bowling pins; the Punch Wall, which tries to knock participants off a 6-inch-wide ledge into a pool of water; and the Pole Vault, which launches racers over a stunt-pad canyon and down a 12-foot slide. Dressed as everything from Oompa-Loompas to marathon runners, runners don't just have a great time—they also help do good in the community through the organization's charitable donations.
