Questions and Answers
I used to hold season tix at 5th Ave, and I assume they are making this offer because they have many seats available.
They are asking us to bring the coupon to will call because they can sell seats that are unsold OR if a season ticket holder decides he can’t make the show, and exchanges his seat for another date, his seat would be available at will call. To be sure you get a seat, make sure you arrive as early as possible the day of your show to pick up tickets. You can call the box office to get that time, and the details on how early they recommend picking up your ticket.
enjoy the show!
I am in the same situation. We can only make the Sunday show. Please explain how the show selection works

Hi Mike and Sharmon,
You are able to go as soon as tomorrow to the box office to reserve the tickets. There are plenty of seats available so this should not be a problem. Let me know if that helps.
Thanks,
Traci
I don’t live close by. Can I have someone pick the tickets up for me?

Hi Kris,
As long as they have the Groupon with them to show the box office, that should be fine. :)
Let me know if you have further questions.
Thanks,
Traci
How does the seating assignment work. Are the tickets being sold by Groupon for the Side Balcony, Upper Balcony, Back Orchestra & Middle Balcony,Orchestra & Grand Tier. Each of the areas in the past were sold for differing cost

Hi Keith,
The seats are good for the Orchestra/Grant Tier section.
Thanks,
Traci

The Theatre would prefer that you order your tickets as soon as possible for the best seating and availability. You do not need to wait until right before the performance.
The Box Office is open 9:30 to 5:30 Monday through Friday and noon on Saturday and Sunday. If you have any questions regarding availability, please call 206-625-1900 or email ticketing@5thavenue.org.
Thanks and enjoy.. :)

I’ve got an under 20 who wants to go with. Can I use the groupon for me and she can get the day of under 20 discount? It’s the only way we could probably afford to go to this show

Hi Facebook User,
You can definitely use the Groupon for yourself and if the “under 20” is at a cheaper rate than I would not see a problem with that.
Hope that answers your question.
Thanks,
Traci
Does the groupon cost include fees?

Hi Marlowe,
The Groupon costs is good for the entire purchase of the ticket which is valued at $71. Hope that answers your questions. :")
Traci
Traci: How long does it take for the Groupon to become available for printing? I just got an e-mail from my purchase that says it will be ready to print “within one business day.” Does it really take that long? I ask because I need to get myself down there to exchange the Groupon for four tickets. Help!

Hi Facebook User,
After the 24 hours, which is basically first thing tomorrow morning, you will be able to print out your groupon and then you can head over to the box office to redeem. :)
Thanks,
Traci
Thanks, Traci. One more question. I spoke with a sales person 15 minutes ago at the Fifth Avenue. She said I could mail in my Groupons and they would hold for us the best seats they had available at our desired showtime.
Are you aware of such a mail-in option? Just want to make sure I didn’t get someone who had no clue what she was talking about. :)
Craig

Hi Craig,
I was not aware, however, I am sure that is fine. Just make sure you got her name so if she has no clue what she is saying, we can follow up with that. I am sure there is no problem with mailing it in. :)
Thanks,
Traci
So, Traci, get this. I called back to get the woman’s name just in case any problems should arise and since I talked to that woman, the 5th Avenue decided to NOT allow mail-ins after all. My purchase was based on me being able to mail in my Groupons because I live nowhere near the 5th Avenue, and getting down there in the middle of the day is nigh impossible for me. Ugh. So disappointing.

I am soo sorry Craig.. See if you can call ahead to reserve tickets???
Let me know and I apologize for the inconvenience.
Traci
No calling ahead to reserve tickets. I feel mislead by them, which is never a good feeling for a customer to have.

Hi Craig,
I am sorry again for this situation. If you would like to a refund let me know. :(
Traci
I cannot go to theater to get my tickets until Friday morning. If I buy a Groupon and they don’t have any more tickets for the Sun. matinee—can I get a refund for my groupon?
Thanks a lot.
Craig/Facebook User:
Please email ticketing@5thavenue.org and we will take care of your request. The phone in or email option is provided for questions or availability purposes only. However, we will be more than happy to facilitate your tickets as originally promised. We sincerely apologize for the awkward response.
We look forward to seeing you and all the Groupon patrons at the theatre!

Hello I have never bought a groupon so i have a few questions.
1. I am 18 and wish to buy a ticket for my mother and since I am under 20 years old I read that I can get an discount. Is that true? Is there only certain days that the under 20 thing applies? I dont want to only buy one ticket to find out that i cannot go and have to buy one for myself at full price. She cannot go alone.
2. So I print out the groupon and take it down to will call the day i want to see the show? Or do I have to call ahead of time to see if there is seats on the day i want to go? Is there no guarantee i get to see the show? Can I pick up the tickets days before i want to see the show?
Thank you so much.
Traci: Please refund my purchase. I know Mimi has responded, but I’d just prefer a refund at this point.
Thanks,
Craig
Traci: I went ahead and canceled the order on my own. Didn’t realize that was possible until just now.
Craig
Hello, Katherine:
Please see the information below from our website regarding day-of-show discounts for patrons under 25. You are correct that you may purchase a Groupon for your mother and utilize the “under 25” for yourself but the “under 25” is a will-call ticket. I do not foresee a problem with your plan but I would phone the box office on the day you plan to attend and check availability. I will also say that the theatre is dedicated to making our first experience with Groupon a great experience for the Groupon ticket buyers. Please know we will try to accommodate all requests as best possible.
Mimi

Thanks for commenting me back Mimi. Can i sit with my mom if i purchase a ticket that day and she is sitting in the orchestra grand tier section? Or do i have a better chance of sitting next to her if i get my ticket early that day? I plan to go next tuesday at 7:30 so there shouldnt be a big audience on a weekday you think?
Thank you again =]
You will not have a problem. Just present your Groupon and request your “under 25” ticket at the same time and ask to sit together. The Box Office will make sure you have seats together in an area you enjoy. It will be even easier on a Tuesday. I promise.
Mimi

Thank you for all your help I honestly really appreciate it. I hope you have a nice night.
See you next week!

question about picking up tickets:
a friend and i purchased 2 groups of tickets. is it alright if i bring his groupons to the box office, or does he need to be present?
i realize a similar question was asked before, but i just noticed the groupon says that a valid id is required.
thanks.
Ken T: You may give your Groupon to a friend to pick up the tickets. It will not be necessary to show a matching id. If you have any further questions, you may call the Box Office or ask when you arrive to pick up your tickets.
Mimi
Did anyone happen to purchase extra tickets? I was too late to make the deal.
Thanks.
Lisa
I have 2 extra tickets, Lisa. Can you still use them? I can meet you there tomorrow ( Sunday). Please let me know ASAP.
-Laura
I just posted re: Lisa’s post, but does anyone know if they are refundable? Sunday Matinee was the only day I could go, but now it looks like I won’t be able too. Or, does anyone need 2 tickets?
Hi Laura,
I just got your post. So sorry. I couldn’t have made it anyway, we had tix to the Seahawks.
I hope you found someone to take them.
Thanks for trying.
Lisa
I just went to the show tonight and it was great!! I loved the singers, the dancers and the children in the show was a great touch!!
However, I am confused about the price of the Groupon deal and the ticketing. I did not have time to go to the window before our show tonight at 7:30pm. I brought my Groupon at 6:50pm and received the best seating that was availible.
I paid a total of $64 for two tickets but when I received our tickets for the show at the window it stated on the paper ticket that it was worth $15.50. So did I completely over pay for the seats we got on a Tuesday night??
Please explain this to me. Thank you,
Sasha

Hi Sasha,
No you did not over pay as if you go online you can see the pricing for each seats, which the Groupon was valued at $71. I just spoke to management over there and they messed up the pricing on the voucher, you are not the first one to notice. I just want you to know we would never charge a price that was not the value. Thanks Sasha..
Traci

HOw do we know that there will be room in our show? Bought two tickets but can only make one of the showtimes
