During the bath and spa treatment, loving spa staffers clean dogs with a premium shampoo and conditioner. They then clean the dog’s face with a tearless, extra-mild blueberry facial to eliminate crusty eye matter and tear buildup. Staffers primp paws with a nail trim and pad cleaning then proceed to clean the ears and express anal glands to eliminate infections and impactions. They finish up with a tooth brushing, face and sanitary trim, and a blow-dry and brushing. Owners can choose from a list of hypoallergenic shampoos that includes scents such as blueberry, oatmeal, and lavender. Each dog leaves the spa with a tasty bakery treat from the onsite Doggy-Liscious Bake Shop.

A Passion for Pets Daycare

Marcia and Jim Wentzell have been serving the Cobb County animal community for more than 15 years, working with rescue groups, homeless dogs, and family pets. Jim graduated as a certified obedience trainer in 1998, and then went on to serve as the president of the Georgia Network of Professional Petsitters until 2002. In 2005, he and Marcia opened A Passion for Pets Daycare, where they offer grooming, training, daycare, and cage-free sleepovers for dogs.

During daycare, dogs romp, run, and work out four-part howling harmonies on a full acre of open-play space. Four-legged guests that are spending the night also roam freely thanks to cage-free sleepovers with overnight human companionship. At the full-service salon, staffers primp dogs with full bath and spa treatments that include services such as gum massages and even blueberry facials. The on-site Doggy-Liscious Bake Shop provides yummy pet treats such as cupcakes or banana biscotti, and the store also sells natural and holistic pet foods. A Passion for Pets also specializes in agility training and in-home petsitting.

The Groupon Guide to: Too Good to Be True

There's an old saying: if a deal sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Look out for any of these impossible dreams; they might turn into all-too-possible nightmares:

A real-estate agent arrives on your doorstep with a "once-in-a-lifetime investment."
Nice try! This two-bit huckster wants you to spend your retirement fund on 6 acres of stink-swamp so he can move into your much nicer current house and pet your dog all day.

An old man with a beard says you are the newest applicant to a "prestigious wizard academy."
Steer clear! This old nut clearly wants money—or worse: for you to spend your precious time conversing with a lonely elderly person.

A beautiful, compassionate soul tells you they want to spend "the rest of our lives together."
Don't do it! If this person could see the secret darkness that you know is gestating inside you, they would turn to ashes at your touch. Say something hateful in return, in order to set them free.

How can you tell if someone is trying to trick you?
