I have completed the sign up and fill in all info included my creditcard info on the Kayate connection at Santa Cruz at 11:46. Some how I was told that I have an existing acct therefore I should sign in. I was under pressure to get my credit approve by 12 midnight. I kept typing on the wrong password. And I have to go thru the whole produre of setting up a new password. By the time I got reset my new password I should have one and half min to go. And it expired on me. I already promised my girl of 2 coupon for her and her best friends???? Pls help!!!!

Hi Lidiya, Full Face includes upper lip, jaw line, cheeks, sideburns, chin, forehead and nose. You may choose ANY of the areas you desire. Yes, you can do just the upper lip and brow area. However, please note that we cannot do the area under the brow for safety reasons.

This groupon says it is good for 3 visits for $125 but then it says different prices for different areas. So do we get $125 worth of services or we can pick any area and get 3 treatments no matter the price per area? For example, 3 chins (=$150) or 3 bikini lines (=$300).

Standard bikini covers the area on the front that you would see when wearing a standard bikini bottom. You can upgrade to cover the extended bikini (which includes inner thigh) or brazilian for an additional per visit cost.

A few questions… I’ve had laser hair consults before and they’ve told me that I’m not a candidate because I have really blonde hair. How can you sell this procedure if you don’t even know what my hair or skin type is?? If I were to buy this offer, what happens if I’m not a good candidate for the procedure? The light is attracted to the melanin, which is the color in the hair. Blonde hair has a lot less melanin and therefore does not respond as quickly or as well to treatments.

Lower legs is $75.00 per treatment extra and upper legs is $100.00 per treatment extra for the average sized person.

There is no age limit, however teenagers do tend to have hair growth from hormonal causes and will take additional visits over time. Teenagers do love having less hair and being able to shave less frequently. I am a mother of a teenager as well, which makes them comfortable with me.

We have the state of the art Arctic Spot Chiller which cools the skin eliminating the need for numbing cream. It works much better than numbing creams also. There is no additional charge for the use of the chiller.

If I decide to do my full face (if I’m feeling brave) using all 6, how much extra would that be?

I am interested in buying 2 groupons and using it for either my face or forearms. One of the 2 not both. My question is what is the time frame between each visit for the face? For the forearms? Also if I don’t see complete hair removal within 6-10 sessions how many more sessions will I have to complete?

Mo, Full face can be used with the Groupon, there is no extra cost for full face. Also, if you purchase 2 Groupons, you may use each one for a different area. However, each individual Groupon is only valid for one are (3 treatments on that one area).

Maria, We recommend treatments every 3-4 weeks for the face and every 6 to 8 weeks for the arms. Most people see their desired results in 6 to 10 treatments. Depending on your physiology, it may take a few more or less. Everyone is different.

Tarae, All areas take an average of 6 to 10 treatments. Teens vary due to hormone levels. It is best recommended for teens to wait 2 to 3 years after their cycle begins for better results. However, it is a safe procedure at younger ages and teens love to have less hair and need to shave less frequently.

Hi, returning to an earlier posting: it says that $50 is a regular fee for the chin. So, if I spend $125 for three treatments where is my 76% saving? The full price for three treatments would of been then $150. If I spend $125 that is only 8% saving.

what are the chances of scarring? can you remove hair between treatments?

Prior to beginning treatments, we schedule everyone for a free consultation. During the consultation, we explain everything to expect with the treatments and what to avoid to ensure you have a safe procedure. We also perform a spot test on everyone to ensure that your skin reacts normally and that this will be a safe procedure for everyone.

The machine that we use is FDA approved for all skin types, including dark skin. We have a separate light head for dark skin that has been FDA approved to be safe and effective.

Our office operates very cautiously and we have never had any scarring. While scarring is an extremely rare side effect, if you follow all of our directions, you will have a very safe procedure.

I am available by phone and email outside of office hours in case a client has any concerns as well.

Between treatments you may shave as much as you want. You cannot wax, thread, pluck, or use depilatories. Shaving and trimming are the only forms of removal that can be used between treatments.

What portion of the face and or/neck is covered with the men’s beard treatment? I notice you have a separate treatment for the front of the neck and am wondering if any of the neck is covered with the men’s beard treatment alone. Thank you!

Silke, Every area takes an average of 6 to 10 treatments. However, the darker the hair, the better the results. Grey hair responds the least. Blonde, especially very fine peach fuzz hair is very resistant as well. If there is some darker pigment in the leg hair, it will respond better.

Sheryl, The men’d beard covers the neck as well. Many men opt to just do the front of the neck because they get ingrown hairs, but still want to have a beard.

Would ingrown hair not being a problem anymore after the treatment? I currently have red/itchy spots on my legs and arms because I have to shave everyday. I only shave, because I do not work very well with wax. I am asian, so hair is black, with your responds earlier, does that mean it is easier to get rid of black hair? Also, if it only takes 5 treatments to get rid of the hair in one area, do I get the remaining treatment refund? Or it has to be used with another area? Thanks for your help.

We have had A LOT of people who have come in because of ingrown hairs and they are very happy with the reduction in ingrown hairs with even a couple of treatments. There are no refunds for unused treatments, however, if you are finished with one area and wanted to start another, I am sure we could work something out with the remaining Groupon visit. You will find we are very reasonable and honest people to work with.

Is there any negative effect of waiting longer in between treatments? What if one doesn’t get the full number of treatments to make the hair completely go away? Does it come back, or just stay at the level you leave it at? Can you “finish” later?

Does full face include front and back neck too?

I think this groupon will be more flexible if you can let people choose what they want up to $525 of services. And list your prices and let people choose what they want. Like this groupon http://www.groupon.com/san-jose/deals/dolce-vita-day-spa-salon for example. The way this Groupon is set up is confusing. Some services means absolutely no savings (example chin area) or low savings with this Groupon.

If you can modify this groupon so I can use up to $525 worth of services and choose the areas I want, I can go and buy 2 of them now for a total value of $1050 in services. I think that will avoid whole lot of confusion and questions being raised here.

The Groupon was set up by Groupon and cannot be modified.

Hope somebody from Groupon is watching this discussion and takes my previous comment as a feedback!. I would buy 2 if I could use it for say back neck ($100) and under arms ($70) as the total for the services is less than $175 limit. As your list prices are determined by size of area, combining two or three smaller areas amounting to $175 should have been a fair deal to you and the buyers.

I am sorry that you aren’t happy with the Groupon. Please shop around and you will find that our regular prices are much better than other places. This Groupon makes our low prices a phenomenal deal.

Thought I would chime in on your and Kathy’s comments. The point of Groupon is to offer our members awesome deals and showcase some of the best businesses in your area. I’m sorry that you don’t feel a $125 for 3 laser hair removal sessions is not a good deal. The reason we dont offer a straight value on hair removal is it would not be fair to the business to stretch out a value of $525 because some parts of the body would only get 3 sessions where other parts could get 6 or more for just $125. and that would cost the business money, and Groupon isnt in the business of putting businesses outta business!
I can assure you $125 for 3 sessions is on of the best prices we have run to date nationwide. Most of the hair removal Groupons have been at least $160 or more. I hove you may reconsider this great offer and take advantage of it. If this is not for you please keep you eye on future features that you might find a better value.
