This wildlife-photography workshop encompasses a four-hour safari with tips, training, and advice from award-winning, professional nature photographer Aaron Baggenstos. Designed for photographers of all levels with all cameras, Aaron tailors instructions to individuals' needs, covering shutter speed, ISO, aperture, exposure calculation, selection of focus modes, image composition, white balance, and even Photoshop techniques. All of this takes place while shutterbugs document Seattle's surprising abundance of wildlife inside various parks. Aaron accompanies groups of no more than six on a quest to track down helmeted wood ducks, camouflaged screech owls, bright hummingbirds, and sparkler-clutching bald eagles. Each participant will also receive a copy of Aaron's limited-edition coffee-table book, Wildlife of Lake Washington. Beverages and snacks will be provided.

Those who do want to improve their photography will not be disappointed, as Baggenstos gives not only practical advice about camera settings and image composition but also tips on finding a good camera at a reasonable price.
