Swedish massage includes a combination of flowing strokes and gentle petrissage, or percussive strokes, which help boost circulation and detoxification. During deep-tissue massage, Stephanie goes a step further by applying sustained, firm pressure to muscle knots to help them release. After their massages, clients should drink plenty of water to help their bodies flush away toxins released by their newly relaxed muscles.
