Dancing is a social hobby, much like playing sports and drafting amendments to the city charter. Build social and rhythmic skills with this Groupon.

Choose Between Three Options

  • $25 for six group dance classes (a $90 value)
  • $49 for one month of dance classes (a $114 value)
  • $60 for two private, choreographed wedding dance lessons (a $150 value)

Dance styles include salsa, fox trot, waltz, tango, swing, rumba, and cha-cha. Dancers must pre-register for classes within their skill level. Group classes are progressive, meaning that classes start at the beginning of each month and get more advanced throughout the rest of the month, building on knowledge gained in the previous class. If you miss a class you can make it up in a private lesson or make it up in a repeat session of that class. See the full schedule of classes here. Alternatively, specialized wedding dance instructors help couples create a dance that fits the theme of their wedding in private classes.

Allure Dance Studio

It isn’t every day that a student and teacher become partners in business, but that’s what happened after Robin Dickson took his first dance class with Matthew Gann. A friendship formed between Dickson, a special-event planner since the age of 17, and Gann, an award-winning ballroom dancer who already owned studios of his own. After realizing ways their backgrounds complemented each other, the two decided to open Allure Dance Studio right next to Cumberland Mall. Experienced dance instructors cultivate twinkle toes in private and group dance lessons across the studio’s sleek hardwood floor. Up to 25 students practice salsa, tango, or merengue rhythms in front of a wall of mirrors that display each student’s progress and most intimidating dance face. All students of Allure can practice what they’ve learned at various parties and events organized by the studio that provide a place where all types of dance can be performed and celebrated.

The Groupon Guide to: Making a Music Video

Music videos are short movies designed to add nonexistent layers of meaning to a song. Here's what you'll need to put together a hot, happenin' vid:

Costumes: The costumes are for the portion of your audience that doesn’t really care for music but goes insane for fashion hats.

Sets: Your sets should include a bedroom, a car, a farmers' market full of loose fruit you can accidentally knock over, a mall from the future, a room that's just full of shapes, and a cell-phone store where you can be filmed purchasing Vincinity's brand-new SuperGalactic Screenless 4G.

Backup Dancers: This group of sassy hard bodies will make you look like you know what you're doing by mimicking the dance moves you're inventing on the spot.

Hit Song: It might seem difficult to write a hit song, but it's not hard to write a rock 'n' roll cover of already-popular "We Three Kings."

I've never heard this version of "We Three Kings."
