Like most modern conflicts, the rivalry between soft and hard tacos will not end until one side gets eaten by a bear. Broker a culinary truce with today's Groupon to Across the Street. Choose between the following options:

  • For $24, you get a meal for two (up to a $54 value) that includes:
    • One appetizer (up to a $9 value)
    • Two entrees (up to a $15 value each)
    • Two spicy or house margaritas (up to a $7.50 value each)

  • For $44, you get a meal for four (up to a $97 value) that includes:
    • One appetizer (up to a $9 value)
    • Four entrees (up to a $15 value each)
    • A pitcher of spicy or house margaritas (up to a $28 value)

Patrons at Across the Street can peruse a menu of fresh Mexican feasts while sipping house-made margaritas in the patio-side bar and inspecting the nearby window display of myriad tequilas. Groups of friends or rival fork salesmen can dive into starters such as roasted poblano and corn queso, or excavate thick-cut fried green tomatoes topped with pico de gallo and fresh goat cheese from under zesty habanero sauce. Innovative entree selections include vegetarian eats such as the goat-cheese enchiladas, stuffed with mango and served over black beans with mango salsa, as well as sweet-potato enchiladas sautéed in tomatillo salsa and smothered in queso. Beer-braised ribs imbibe SweetWater 420 pale ale before reeling drunkenly as chefs grill them over pecan chips and force them to walk a straight line onto a plate, and guests can sip spicy margaritas made with house-infused arbol-chili tequila, freshly squeezed lime juice, and triple sec. Drinkers can also opt for the sweeter house margarita, gulping down refreshing swallows in the restaurant's colorful interior or soaking in the patio's colorful Day of the Dead sketches and murals depicting the stages of mitosis.

The Groupon Guide to: Children's Literature

Though all adult books must be about adultery, children's books can cover a variety of topics. Here's a guide to the most popular children's book plots:

Child Adopts Talking Dog: A child takes in a stray dog, only to find out that it can speak! He gives it to a friend after realizing how little he and the dog have in common.

Child Loses a Kite: The child forgets the only rule of kite flying—holding on. The child spends most of the book making "lost kite" signs until, flattered, the kite returns home.

Child Gets a New Sibling: A child learns to make his own lunch when his parents become very busy.

Child Talks to an Old Person: The least plausible type of plot—a child having an earnest conversation with an old neighbor or old grandparent—is an adorable scenario that exemplifies how truly far-fetched the world of fiction can be!
