During the two-person lesson, students learn to read the wind and identify the three major points of sail, and they also practice slowing, stopping, and docking. Other instruction covers proper weight placement, the parts of a sailboat, and the rules of right of way, which can help avoid traffic disputes with impatient mermaids. Afterward, pairs can journey out on a 60-minute sail in their own rented 14-foot sailboat. This deal is valid at Resort Watersports' Bahia Hotel and Catamaran Hotel locations.
