An EBT heart scan shows even the smallest coronary calcification in the heart, helping to prevent heart disease, the No. 1 cause of death in the United States. The low-dose EBT scan takes about 10 minutes and includes a coronary calcium score (which can help predict future heart attacks), a comprehensive report, and a review of the chest images by a radiologist. The report will be sent to you or your physician upon request. According to the American Cancer Society, lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer death for both men and women. The high-resolution, low-dose EBT lung scan gives more detailed images of the lungs than a chest x-ray and helps detect lung cancer. It is able to show if a tumor has spread to the lymph nodes surrounding the lungs. Visits for heart or lung scans include a 45-60 minute private pre-scan consultation covering family medical histories and additional treatment offerings.

Advanced Body Scan

Supervised by medical director Stanley J. Dombek Jr., MD, FACS, the experienced technicians of Advanced Body Scan peer into clients’ inner workings using a modern scanning system to detect potential health issues, such as cardiovascular disease, which kills more than one-third of all Americans, or lung cancer, the deadliest type of cancer in both men and women. The system, similar to a CT scan, snaps detailed images of the heart, lungs, bone structures, and other organs caged within the body. Images fly from the lens to the computer screen quickly, allowing staff to take pictures of moving organs typically blurred in traditional scans, such as a beating heart or a stomach still flipping from its first roller-coaster ride.

The Groupon Guide to: Monster Weaknesses

Everyone knows that the world is plagued with real monsters, from bullying to illiteracy—but the world is also plagued by even realer monsters, from vampires to swampmen. Fortunately, you can defeat any beast real or imagined with this list of their monster weaknesses:

Monster: Werewolves
Weakness: Silver. Although silver bullets are a traditional means of felling the feral beast, blindly chucking your grandmother’s jewelry into the forest will poison their habitat for generations.

Monster: Vampires
Weakness: Wooden Steak. The vampires will foolishly bite into the delicious-looking “steak,” thus breaking off their fangs and rendering them helpless.

Monster: Zombies
Weakness: Your Friend Who Has a Goatee. He has been training his whole life for this moment. Time to shine, Zachary.

What are some surprising ways to defeat a werewolf?
