Dr. Mark X. Lowney's list of accomplishments is already impressive—graduating magna cum laude from Boston College, receiving an MD from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine, and completing a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at a Brown University–affiliated hospital. But even today he continues to improve his skills, studying under renowned surgeons such as Dr. Angelo Cuzalina and logging hours of practice on his life-size "Operation" board game.
