Dr. Mark X. Lowney's list of accomplishments is already impressive—graduating magna cum laude from Boston College, receiving an MD from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine, and completing a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at a Brown University–affiliated hospital. But even today he continues to improve his skills, studying under renowned surgeons such as Dr. Angelo Cuzalina and logging hours of practice on his life-size "Operation" board game.

Now at Advanced Body Sculpting of New England, Dr. Lowney oversees everything from Botox injections to Celluderm Lipomassage. His specialization in obstetrics and gynecological surgery gives him an advantage in performing certain female cosmetic surgical procedures; he was one of the first gynecologists in Massachusetts to perform Her Option Cryoablation, Novasure, and other menstrual alleviation procedures, and he now serves as a nationwide instructor for these and other treatments.
