Choose Between Two Options

  • $249 for a three-hour Breeze ultralight lesson package, including two flights and one ground-training lecture over one–two days of instruction (a $510 value)
  • $399 for a five-hour Weekender ultralight lesson package, including four flights and two ground-training lectures over two–three days of instruction (an $850 value)

Ultralights consist of a wing powered by a three-wheeled, motorized undercarriage. Each package includes ground-training lessons, during which burgeoning cloud wranglers learn the controls and safety information of the vessel. Flights follow as certified instructors oversee beginner pilots putting their training into practice. To complete a full 25-hour course—which will qualify customers for an Ultralight pilot license—prospective pilots may purchase up to five Weekender packages.

Adventure At Altitude

Open seven days a week all year, Adventure At Altitude's instructors teach groundlings to soar with the aid of hang-gliders, ultralights, and flying boats. During adrenaline-pumping experiences, guests can share a tandem vessel or pilot their own hang-glider while soaring up to 5,300 feet in the air. Ultralight SkyRides place passengers at the helm of a hang-glider wing powered by a motorized undercarriage. Passengers are welcome to try out aerobatic tricks such as dives, spins, and wingovers, or teach their partners the proper arm signals for left-hand turns in the air.
