Questions and Answers

With the SDI TDI ERDI certification, will I have problems renting equipment at other sites in the USA? International sites? Thanks

Frankly, if it wasn't one of the most, if not the most recognized certifications on the planet we would not offer it. To be more specific , Yes SDI /TDI/ ERDI are recognized throughout the planet and in over 100 nations. If anyone tells you different their either lying, or just plain ignorant of the facts. Having been in the business, for over 40 years SDI/TDI /ERDI offers premium training, education and recognition. I also Highly Endorse NASE, National Academy of SCUBA EDUCATORS/ because the offer cutting edge technology and programs. Finally no business person (with a brain in his head would ever refuse to offer, sell or extend services to anyone in possession of a certification card. Even if the card is from a lesser known dive agency like PDIC-IDEA-MDEA-SEA or whatever. These agencies like the big guys follow stringent rules and offer quality programs regardless of their size

Excellent Question. Following 35 plus year association with PADI, NAUI the YMCA we opted 8 years ago to primarily offer International Training (ie SDI TDI ERDI) as our certification of choice. Why ? State of the art materials, programs which, ultimately bring our student's cost down. SDI invented the online, cd rom / dvd format of home study (for scuba) nearly 10 years before PADI - NAUI or SSI even considered it. Since 99% of our students are from somewhere else, this allows them to "home"study prior to arriving for the practical dives. A major cost savings on commuting, hotels, baby sitters etc visit www.tdisdi.com and learn why they have have been kicking certification "but" Sure the other guys have online now, some even insists they invented it, but the truth is for the other guys its too little too late. In SDI one can take nearly every course via online, even leadership courses..
