$59 for a High Adventure Challenge for Two ($130 Value)

Adventureworks' team of skilled adventurers instills ethics of teamwork and leadership as they guide climbers of all experience levels through its High Adventure Challenge. Over the course of two hours, pairs gradually ascend narrow catwalks and intricate rope webs suspended among towering trees and vibrant green foliage, up to 60 feet above ground. Adventuring pairs encounter different challenges at each section, passing frequent points where they can exit in the event of being offered a lift by a passing bird. At the end of the course, participants can re-embrace gravity as they soar back to earth on a giant swing. As members of the Association for Experiential Education and the American Society for Training and Development, Adventureworks' adept staff draws on extensive backgrounds in education, fitness training, and mental health.

Adventureworks

Staffers at ACCT-, AEE-, and ASTD-certified Adventureworks understand that the best adventures are the ones that take you out of your element. That's why they've outfitted the towering trees in their 40-acre forest with a multi-line zipline course. Over the course of their 90-minute tours, guides send visitors soaring through a canopy filled with leafy vegetation, avian wildlife, and sky-high views of the ground below. In addition to traditional tours, guides also mark special occasions with commemorative zipline trips. Depending on the calendar or time of day, guests might spy lunar sights on a Full Moon Zip, celebrate midsummer with a Firefly Zip, or ring in the new year with the annual Polar Bear Zip.

The Groupon Guide to: New Plays

Anyone who thinks live theater is a dying art hasn't experienced the magic of an actor creating an explosion on stage using only sounds from his mouth or changing into a different character using only a switch of the hat. Take a look at some of the fascinating contemporary plays coming to a theater near you:

The Sanders Family Chronicles: When the family dog dies, the Sanders family's 14 adult children must return to the small Southern town where they grew up. Getting these 14 very different people to agree on one dog's burial plot won't be easy, and you can bet secrets are going to be revealed.

Oh! To Move! or The Weather in Cincinnati Has Never Been So Clear: Don't ever say an old lady can't dance. Ever since her husband passed, Eva Marie can't stop boppin' to the beat. This 67-year-old has a new lease on life, and she's swingin' her stuff at every pub in town when she meets a stranger who loves dancing just as much as she does. This feel-good hit has critics saying "Go, Eva Marie, go!"

The Last Soldier of Queens: When a major corporation comes in and wants to turn all of Queens into a Dormart, a regular working-class man named Reginald Guy stands his ground. As Dormart razes the town to prepare for construction, Reg Guy watches his hometown transform into a postapocalyptic wasteland. It all comes to a head in a climatic showdown between Reg and his nemesis, The Bulldozer Monster.

When will you see the new play "The Last Soldier of Queens"?
