Agora

The façade of Agora rises up as homage to the Parthenon—the enormous Doric columns reaching upward to support a golden frieze where the eatery’s name is emblazoned in bronze letters. Through the double doors and back onto the 6,000-square-foot rooftop patio, rows of pristine white couches bathe in sunlight. There, servers carry out platters of lamb burgers, skewered sirloin, and flaky spanakopita. Aromas of peppers, roasting eggplant, and parsley fill the air, giving one the sensation of having stepped into a Greek kitchen or virtual-reality simulator stuck on the Greek Kitchen setting. A sports bar is also available downstairs.
