For the one-hour lesson or tour, couples can either take a private lesson or a private guided tour along designated aquatic trails, including routes overlooking the Charleston Harbor or in various creeks, inlets, and waterways around the barrier islands.

The outdoor enthusiasts at Air & Earth should be the envy of party and wedding planners: they have a contingency plan for just about every kind of weather. The passionate instructors and tour guides lead standup-paddleboard classes when the air is calm, but when the waves have been whipped into frothy peaks, they go kiteboarding.
