for the lesson I would need to purchase the $129 option. Is this for one or two people to get an hour lesson? Also do I really need a lesson or just rent a board and give it a whirl? thanks

Hi Brad, Our 5th option is a private paddle boarding tour/lesson for two people. Here, we supply all equipment and set up at a private location. Then one of our coaches will meet you for one hour. Regarding lesson vs. rental... Honestly, paddle boarding is quite easy, especially in calm water. Those taking the $129 option either choose to learn more challenging paddle surfing, or take a private tour in salt marsh back creeks, whe wildlife is abundant. Hope this helps...

Absolutely! Paddle Boarding, unlike surfing, may be done in calm waters such as lakes, ponds, creeks & rivers. It is very easy to do and has about a 5 minute learning curve. Or, for the more adventurous, on the beach in small waves, where surfing becomes easy. A few things to consider when paddle boarding with a Child: 1) Adult supervision. Be Especially sure an adult is available to help get the board in and out of the water 2) Always have flotation aids available. If using a paddle board any where outside the beach, you must have a Coast Guard Approved Class III PFD on board. 3) The rider is a good swimmer 4) If water is cold, you have thermal protection. 5) Paddle in still water areas with little to no current Hope this helps!

Hi, there are several rental options, including the $15 day time ( pickup and return same day), and there is an overnight option for $20 (pickup today return tomorrow).
