ASTM is the standard Sport Helmet allowed. If riders do not have their own then we have a limited availability for rentals at additional cost of $5 per rider.

What is the youngest age appropriate for the one-hour lesson? My daughter will be 3 years old this spring, and I would like to bring her for the one-hour lesson after she turns 3. Is that too young?

Hi there. 3 is too young for Formal Lessons.. I do know some 3yr olds who are gung ho however...SO we encourage you to bring th child and we will introduce her to the horses!

Can you explain the bronze lease package, specifically what is a "practice ride"? Also, what are the hours of operation when lessons can be scheduled for this package? Would a participant be able to book lessons on evenings/weekends?

I apologize for difficulties in answering any of the questions.. Our internet was down and I was unable to reply via blackberry. Thanks to all who called directly or sent email questions.. Our open house hours are also every Saturday 2-4pm... Leasing is what we aim for with our dedicated students. Riding 3 times per week for health and learning. Weekdays and Weekends are available. Subject to Age and Skill Level. The first week will be for Introductions and assessments, as we hope all Groupon Clients will Join T.A.R.A on a Permanent Basis! Hope this helps =)

When you say that you have to wear a boot with a 1/2" heel, does it have to be a riding boot, or any type of boot?
